TERMS OF SERVICE

These are my Terms of Service! Please read them carefully and ensure that you are able and willing to comply with them before reaching out to me. By commissioning me, you agree that you have read and will abide by these terms in their entirety.Violations of this agreement will most likely result in cancellation without refund and / or permanent refusal to accept any further commissions from you.

BOUNDARIES

I WILL DO:⇛ OCs ( both fandom and standalone )
⇛ Ships ( any mix of OC / canon )
⇛ Furry / Anthro
⇛ Humanoid Fantasy Races
⇛ Suggestive undertones / Partial nudity ( YOU MUST BE 18+ YEARS OLD )
⇛ Mild to moderate gore ( lacerations, bruising, etc. )I WON'T DO:⇛ Anything along the lines of pedophilia / bestiality / incest / etc.
⇛ Hate speech
⇛ Fetish art / Explicit or heavily implied NSFW / Visible genitals
⇛ RPF / Real people ( personas that exist within fictional spaces are OK! )
⇛ Mechs / Vehicles / Guns
⇛ Heavy / Complex armor
⇛ Heavy gore ( anything with a significant amount of exposed organs, bones, etc. )
⇛ Complex backgrounds ( highly cluttered rooms, intricate architecture / landscapes, etc. )This list likely doesn't encompass every possible thing that I am willing and not willing to do, and I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason, including personal discomfort with certain topics or lack of experience / confidence in drawing certain forms.If you would like any clarification regarding my boundaries or to inquire about something not mentioned, feel free to ask!

RIGHTS

⇛ Artwork that you commission from me is only to be used for personal, non-commercial purposes. I do not currently offer licensing agreements for commercial use of my art, nor do I offer copyright transfers.⇛ My signature is not to be removed from my artwork for any reason.⇛ I will not post commissioned artwork to social media without permission or credit to the commissioner, who may request to be addressed anonymously. However, I still reserve the right to use it for portfolio / work sample purposes.⇛ Any artwork I make is not to be used for any purpose related to or involving AI generative software, cryptocurrency, or NFTs.⇛ For commissions with images as backgrounds, I will only use images that I have explicit permission to use. This includes images that fall under Public Domain / Fair Use, photos that you have taken yourself, etc.

PAYMENT AND REFUNDS

⇛ My prices are in CAD and I only accept payment through PayPal invoice. I do not accept payments through direct transfers between accounts.I offer two payment options:
⇛ Full price upfront
⇛ Half upfront, half before coloring / rendering ( only for $60+ commissions )⇛ My prices will vary on a case-by-case basis, depending on factors such as character / compositional complexity or real-life circumstances that affect my capacity to work.⇛ Once the first payment has been given, I do not accept changes to the parameters of the commission that were agreed upon at the time of payment. ( i.e. commission type, characters / scenario portrayed, etc. )For cancelled commissions, I will provide:
⇛ A full refund if I have not started the piece.
⇛ A 50% refund if I am in the sketching stage.
⇛ No refund if I am in the coloring / rendering stage.⇛ If I am the one to cancel the commission for any reason other than misconduct / breach of our agreement on your end, I will issue a full refund regardless of progress.⇛ I will not provide the unfinished art if a commission is cancelled, regardless of circumstance. Furthermore, I cannot resume a partway-cancelled commission, nor can I guarantee that I would be able to fully replicate the cancelled piece if re-commissioned.

COMMUNICATION

⇛ I only carry out discussions regarding my services through email and Discord, and only in text form. I will not accept communication through voice / video call, voice notes, or any other platform in regards to commissions.⇛ Communication between us is expected to be civil and professional. I reserve the right to cancel our transaction without refund if I feel uncomfortable with or threatened by your conduct.⇛ You may request a preview of the in-progress artwork once every 3+ days. I will not send previews more frequently than that.⇛ If I reach out to you concerning matters that impede commission progress ( i.e. approval of revisions, pending payments, etc. ) and you are unresponsive for 1 week, I will put your commission on hold and open your spot in the queue for other clients. If another 3 weeks pass without response, I will consider the commission cancelled without refund.I may extend this time if I am given prior notice of when and for how long you will be unresponsive, but I will not hold a commission for more than 2 months total.⇛ If I fail to respond to a significant inquiry ( i.e. requests for previews, questions regarding the commission, etc. ) without prior notice for 1 week, you will be entitled to a 10% refund for every day after that week has passed.

PRICING

PROCESS

1. First, you'll either need to contact me directly through Discord ( my handle is dryadeae ) or submit a Commission Form! Once I know what you want drawn, I'll let you know whether I've accepted, declined, or need more information to decide.2. After all the details are sorted out, I'll inform you of the price and estimated turnaround time. If it works for you, I'll send you a PayPal invoice. You can either pay the full price upfront, or - if your commission is $60+ - you can pay half upfront, half before I start coloring and rendering.3. Once payment is received, I'll draw the base sketch and send you a downsized, watermarked preview when it's finished. If desired, you can request up to two revisions with no added cost.( If you choose to pay half-and-half, this is when I will send you the invoice for the second half of the payment. This must be paid before I continue the piece, including any requested revisions. )4. I will start coloring and rendering the piece once any requested revisions are made. If you want to check my progress, you can request a preview at any point, with a cooldown period of 3 or more days. You can also request up to two revisions for the coloring and shading, but I will no longer be making any revisions to the base sketch.5. When the piece is done, I will send your art in full size / resolution, either by email or Google Drive link. By default, the file will be a .png at 150 dpi resolution, but you can request any resolution (within reason) and image format supported by Clip Studio Paint.
